Advisory on THE COVID-19 (Coronavirus DISEASE 2019)

Advisory Update on 7 February 2020

In view of the developing novel coronavirus situation in Singapore, additional precautionary measures have been activated around Singapore EXPO & MAX Atria to reduce the risk of transmission.

As a matter of safety and precaution, we have advised our staff, partners and tenants, to remain vigilant, adopt good personal hygiene practices, monitor their health closely, and to be socially responsible.

For more information, please refer to the health advisory signage and digital billboards at Singapore EXPO & MAX Atria. For your health and safety, hand sanitisers have been put in place at various locations of the venue.

Please be informed that there are now 3 general entry points at the venue with temperature screening stations:

  • Foyer 1 (MAX Atria)
  • Foyer 2 (EXPO)
  • Coach Bay Link Bridge (Level 2)


We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding should there be a holdup at the respective entry points. Please refer to the map below for location of general entry points and hand sanitisers.

Individuals who are unwell are advised not to visit Singapore EXPO & MAX Atria. If you are attending an event at the venue and become unwell during the event, we urge you to seek appropriate medical attention immediately. Individuals placed on Leave of Absence (LOA) should also not attend events or visit the venue.

With regard to visitors from China or those who have travelled to China in the last 14 days, Singapore EXPO & MAX Atria is in alignment with the Singapore Ministry of Health’s (MOH) advisories. Please refer to the Singapore Ministry of Health website for further information on the extension of precautionary measures to minimise risk of community spread in Singapore.

At Singapore EXPO & MAX Atria, we want to assure our customers and the public that your health and safety are of utmost importance to us.  We wish to give our reassurance that we will assist those who are affected during this period and will take cue from MOH on our course of actions.

The situation is being closely monitored and we will keep the public informed in due course.

Health advisory signage and digital billboards have also been put up around Singapore EXPO & MAX Atria to advise all visitors to the venue.

It has been brought to our attention that Singapore has been confirmed to be among the countries affected by the novel coronavirus pneumonia. Precautionary measures have been activated around Singapore EXPO & MAX Atria to reduce the risk of transmission.

As a matter of safety and precaution, we have advised our staff and partners, and urge visitors to the venue, to remain vigilant and be socially responsible.
